Hello Everyone! I am LOVING this ephemera from Collection 1. Today I made 3 cards where the ephemera is the main focus – mainly!
This card is similar to the card I made during the reveal. The 2 yellow pieces of pattern paper are left from the triangular piece I cut for Card 1 in my reveal post. I added this fun stripe paper underneath and add red card stock between the patterns so they each pop.
I then grabbed this fun “Picnic Time” ephemera piece to add in my triangular space. I then finished the card with Nuvo Crystal Drops in the color “Blushing Red”, which is from the Banana Split portion of the card kit.
I personally LOVE watermelon and this ant on his watermelon slice cracks me up! For this card I added my watermelon scrap in the center and popped up on foam adhesive the 2 watermelon pieces from the ephemera.
This little ant needed somewhere to take his picnic so I created this scene with the stencil from the Banana Split portion of the card kit. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my clouds and Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for the grass. I added a scrap of pattern paper for my ant to stand on and popped him up on foam adhesive.
